DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION,ROLES AND RESPONSIBILLITIES(R&R)

The Architect, together with the Client (with input from Construction if necessary) will design the building plan and submit for approval.

On approval, the building plan is submitted to the Structural Engineer, to design the steel structure.

The approved plan is simultaneously submitted to the Builder for Tendering.

The Client reviews and approves the Tender document.

Upon approval, the Builder should verify all measurements given on the Building Plan (where applicable). The same is submitted to the Structural Engineer, to finalize the structural design (this is critical).

The Structural Engineer will issue the verified design for fabrication.

The fabricated panels are delivered to site, upon which the Builder may commence the steel frame erection.

DIY PROCESS

Should Clients be interested in constructing themselves, Fitran can supply the pre-fabricated light steel frame panels.

The Client would submit the design, which Fitran will use as a basis to expedite.

With the DIY option, Clients will manage and arrange for the required compliances. Fitran only supplies the light steel frame panels.
